Patricia L Stewart, DVM
Dr. Patricia Stewart has been a pet lover her entire life. As a child, she constantly read books about dogs and cats, and dreamed of devoting her life to animal care. When her family visited relatives on the farm, Patricia always enjoyed playing with the cows, chickens, pigs, and other animals. She and the farm dog, Jack, spent many hours exploring the woods together and enjoyed a very special relationship.
After graduating from Rockhurst University with a degree in Biology, Patricia proceeded to the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1977 Dr. Stewart graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and her dreams became a reality.
After many years of practice, Dr. Stewart remains passionate about providing her patients with the best medical care science has to offer. That commitment is put into practice at Rockhill Pet Clinic through substantial investments in state-of-the-art medical equipment not commonly available at other animal clinics. As a pet lover, Dr. Stewart understands the important place that pets have in our lives. She has devoted her life to providing compassionate care for animals while maintaining a high level of professionalism and medical expertise. She works hard to educate clients and empower them to make meaningful decisions about their pet's care. Dr. Stewart's personal pet is a Shih Tzu, named Smokey.
Danelle Griswold, DVM
Dr. Danelle Griswold joined Rockhill Pet Clinic as an Associate Veterinariann in June 2011. She is a graduate of Iowa State University where she also obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2007.
Community involvement and helping others is very important to Dr. Griswold. While in veterinary school she was the co-founder of the Iowa State Josh Project. This is a great organization that donates special plush dogs and accompanying books to sick children in hospitals. It was a wonderful way for Dr. Griswold and her team to use animals to help sick kids. Dr. Griswold believes that possessing a deep understanding of the importance of the human-animal bond is an essential factor in providing thorough and comprehensive pet care. She is also the owner of two loving Shih Tzu's, Bentley and Zoe.
